Standard 20-foot shipping container dimensions are 20’ x 8’ x 8’6” for the exterior dimensions and 19’4” x 7’8” x 7’10” for the interior dimensions.
Standard 40-foot shipping container dimensions are 40’ x 8’ x 8’6” for the exterior dimensions and 39’6” x 7’8” x 7’10” for the interior dimensions.
High cube containers come with an extra foot of vertical space at 9’6” compared to the standard 8’6”.
